Frozen The Musical Tickets-Theatre Royal Drury Lane

Following its extensive £45 million refurbishment, the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane hosts the much-anticipated stage adaptation of Disney's 2013 mega movie hit Frozen The Musical which now transfers to the West End following its hugely successful opening on Broadway.

This is the heartwarming tale of the strong bond felt between the two Princess sisters, Anna and Elsa whose relationship comes under threat when Elsa, who has the magical ability to create snow and ice and freeze everything she touches is forced to isolate from the rest of the world as her peculiar talent has thrown the Kingdom of Arendelle into a perpetual state of winter. After assembling a small and loyal team of allies, Anna sets out to find Elsa, put an end to winter, and finally bring her long-lost sister home

The stage adaptation of Frozen will feature a musical score that includes all of the family-friendly songs from the movie including 'Let It Go', 'Do You Want To Build A Snowman?', and 'For The First Time In Forever' as well as new additional songs that will delight all of the family in what promises to be a truly unique theatrical experience that will surely thaw even the coldest of hearts.

How Can I Buy Cheap Tickets To Frozen The Musical?

Although demand for this show will usually exceed supply during peak times such as school holidays and weekends, the Theatre Royal Drury Lane is a huge venue with four tiers that all need to be filled for 8 shows every single week meaning that tickets to Frozen The Musical will eventually find a level and both off-peak and mid-week performances will then bring some value and eventually some cheap and discount tickets will be available.

Are Balcony And Upper Circle Tickets To Frozen The Musical Good Value For Money?

Despite being on the second floor of this huge venue, the seats in the upper circle do offer a pretty good and clear view of the stage, and booking tickets to Frozen The Musical in this section is ideal for those on a budget. Although there is often value to be found in the upper circle and cheap Frozen tickets can be sourced here, it is unusual to find discounts in this section as larger venues tend to save those for either the stalls and dress circle areas of the theatre or group bookings. The balcony section is very high up and possibly not suitable for people who are not comfortable with heights or who suffer from vertigo. It is always recommended that you check the seating plan before purchase so that you have absolute clarity about where in the venue you will be seated.

When Is The Best Time To Book Frozen The Musical Tickets?

Due to the family-friendly nature of this show, tickets to Frozen The Musical will likely be in huge demand during peak periods such as school holidays and weekends so bargain hunters should avoid these times if possible when looking for value in the price. The quieter months of November, January, and February should hopefully see downward movements in the ticket price (especially in the cheaper sections of the theatre) and the weeks that follow from school holidays consistently bring savings for family shows as people's finances can sometimes to be stretched during these times but seats still need to be filled.

Why Is There A Booking Fee Added To The Price Of Tickets To Frozen The Musical?

If you book Frozen The Musical tickets through a third party such as a website or the shops in and around Leicester Square there is a good chance, especially during peak periods that there will be a booking fee included in the price. This is because the producers of the show are confident that they can sell this show and fill the venue at full price due to the sheer public demand and therefore do not offer any discounted rates to agents who then are forced to charge a booking fee to make a profit.

The good news though is that a venue the size of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane needs to be filled for 8 shows every single week of the year and to do that there will always be weeks that present a challenge, and it is these times where the producers will offer agents negotiated discounted rates that they, in turn, can pass on to the consumer often resulting in some great value for money. When booking West End theatre tickets through a third-party website it is always worth checking that the agent is a member of the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR) to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind over your purchase.

Should I Avoid Tickets To Frozen The Musical That Are Marked Restricted View?

Generally speaking the seats in the stalls do offer a very good view of the stage however from row S and onwards there is a small restriction to the view from the overhang from the royal circle which in turn also has some restrictions from the overhang from the grand circle from row H. The price of tickets to Frozen The Musical in these seats should however reflect this no matter how small the restriction and certainly in the cut-off rows of S in the stalls and H in the royal circle this can mean excellent value for money to the consumer and is well worth exploring. Any restrictions in the upper circle or balcony though should be looked at with caution and possibly avoided. It is always highly recommended to check the seating plan thoroughly before booking tickets to ensure full transparency over your purchase.

The Theatre Royal Drury Lane is a large West End theatre that has a capacity of 1993 seats. Several different price bands are available throughout the theatre with a wide range of excellent and unobstructed views while also allowing patrons to exploit the cut-off points of the price bands to secure maximum value for money.

Due to the vast size of the venue, some sections can feel a little distant from the stage, however, the stage itself is 22 metres deep, and the seats further back in the Stalls section let you take everything in. The centre seats in the Stalls offer a hugely immersive experience without any restrictions and are considered Premium seats which are reflected in the price. Sitting in the front of the Royal Circle gives the best overall view of the stage from an elevated position and seats 12-24 are dead-centre and avoid any restrictions that sometimes feature in seats towards the ends of rows.

The seats in the Balcony section at this theatre are always the cheapest and offer good value for money although due to the size of the venue, they are very high up and possibly not suitable for those suffering from vertigo. Sitting near the front centre does provide an excellent and unobstructed view of the stage allowing you to absorb the atmosphere of this amazing and iconic theatre. These seats can also often have an equally good view and be better priced than those in the Grand Circle for patrons on a budget looking to secure cheap Frozen tickets or looking for lastminute shows in London.
